| Description: | Overall Purpose of the Position/Function Develop and/or expand a client base within the Consulting Engineering, Contract Operations, and Federal Government markets concentrating on those firms with national presence or large regional firms with multi-state influence. Penetrate and dominate these markets by positioning ADS and its multiple divisions as the preferred service provider for equipment, sewer system inspection services, water services and software tools. Responsibilities - Gain intimate knowledge of major projects relative to flow monitoring, equipment, and water conservation initiatives by Consulting Engineers, EPC's, and Contract Operators to feed to the existing sales channels for growth.
- Identify new and strengthen existing commercial relationships with the major water and wastewater Consulting Engineers, EPC's and Contract Operation firms.
- Utilize relationships in the Consulting, EPC and Contract Operation firms to access and capture \Federal Government contracts within ADS core business expertise...
- Communicate and coordinate activities with existing sales channels to identify and capture strategic projects in ADS' core markets (Wastewater collection s in ADS' core markets (Wastewater collection system services and flow monitoring, Transit time flow monitors, water loss control programs and line stopping).
- Communicate to the VP Business Development opportunities uncovered in adjacent markets that could lead to additional revenue streams for ADS.
- Participate in business/client development including all aspects of the sales process from cold calls, needs analysis, solution engineering and initiating strategies to meet client needs.
- Work with existing sales channels and regional Operations Staff to pursue and win specific projects within the region as requested.
- Participate on Key Project teams as requested.
- Conceptual sales with CE firms, EPC firms, Con Ops, and Federal Government.
- Meet and/or exceed individual market segment growth initiatives...
- Daily and weekly reporting of all activities, schedules and contracts.
- Abide by on-the-job site safety requirements.
- Attend and participate in both regional and national conferences and sales seminars, including giving technical presentations.
- Complete special projects as required.
Requirements SKILLS - Excellent written, oral communication and social skills required. Ability to use a computer. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE - B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent industry experience preferred. At least 15 years in water/wastewater experience with sales exposure to the Consulting Engineering and municipal market. (EOE/AA/MFDV) |
